Deputy Brand Manager – Bershka Ireland (Retail Area Manager)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced multi-site fashion retail leader to oversee Bershka stores across Ireland. This is a field-based role focused on supporting store teams, driving commercial performance, and ensuring our brand standards are delivered consistently.
This role suits someone who is passionate about people, product, store execution, and commercial results in a fast-paced retail environment.
This is a retail operations leadership role — not office-based position.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Sales
Lead sales performance across all stores
Analyse product results and guide teams on commercial and visual adjustments
Implement and adapt commercial strategies to the Irish market
Monitor competitor activity and identify commercial opportunities
Deliver workshops that improve sales and elevate customer experience
Retail Operations
Ensure strong daily store operations, replenishment, delivery flow and stockroom organisation
Optimise payroll productivity and KPI performance
Support loss prevention strategy to achieve shrinkage targets
Maintain high standards in store presentation, structure, and lighting
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational policies
People & Leadership
Coach and develop Store Managers and future leaders
Build strong succession plans across all stores
Partner with HR on staffing, training, wellbeing and performance
Support recruitment decisions for management roles
Promote an inclusive and high-performance culture in every store
Experience Required
We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate:
2+ years’ experience as an Area Manager or multi-site manager in fashion retail
Strong commercial awareness and decision-making skills
Hands-on experience leading store operations and teams
Experience with KPIs, , stock, and P&L levers
Ability to coach and develop managers across multiple locations
Experience adapting global brand strategies to local customers
Knowledge of Irish retail operations and employment standards
Passion for fashion, trends, and customer experience

Job requirements
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in senior multi-site retail management roles, with a proven track record of delivering commercial results in fast-paced, complex environments.
Demonstrated 360° business acumen: must show hands-on experience across sales, operations, people/HR, commercial strategy, and financial management.
Experience must include direct responsibility for P&L, commercial planning, and execution of brand strategies at a national or international level.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop large, diverse teams across multiple locations, with a focus on succession planning and talent development.
Strong background in driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and implementing innovative solutions in retail.
Experience in managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with senior Leaders(e.g., product, HR, finance, loss prevention, visual merchandising).
Advanced knowledge of UK and Irish retail markets, including regulatory and employment law.
Experience in competitor analysis, market intelligence, and adapting global strategies to local market needs.
