Operations Manager (Fixed Term Contract -12months)
Reporting to: General Manager, Deputy Manager, AMT
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations and processes
1.1 Stockroom management
- To optimize stockroom capacity through detailed merchandise organization and distribution of the different working areas.
- To make sure shopfloor is following replenishment standards by implementing strategies to keep 25 reports under control.
- To analyze operational reports/KPI: 25R replenishment ranking, success of devolutions, confirmation of transfers and strategize plans for improvement.
- To communicate with senior management on a daily basis regarding personnel, product and procedures.
- To maintaining a healthy stock level in the stockroom by conducting frequent and efficient returns to the warehouse following the company guidelines.
- To process all devolutions and transfers in & out the stores receives.
- To oversees the management of the overstock from merchandising changes.
1.2 Store processes
- To ensure the efficient and effective running of the fitting room by money mapping rail organization applying all latest procedures.
- To drive the floor keeping it according to standards ensuring cash desk and fitting rooms are well covered and organised.
- To oversees the banking procedures and follow up any incident reported by ATM Department.
- To follow up and revise General Services orders (bags, stationery, Sint packages)
1.3 Delivery processes
- To organize, prepare and control all the delivery process from preparation (crates and hours calculation), reception of goods and putting away on shelves by following Company’s guidelines.
- To manage and oversee the delivery process to ensure it is in line with the company target productivity and propose action plans to improve the overall processes
- Omnichannel and technology
- To follow up with the latest updates in Sint and Online and inform the team of all the changes by implementing training sessions.
- To oversees that all Sint process is followed correctly by the team.
- To optimize the stocking of Sint packages and the correct delivery to customers.
- To control the online devolutions of Sint packages.
- To implement strategies to excel Sint KPIS (volume of orders, weight, rejections)
- To run weekly online inventories.
- Ensure correct use and maintenance of store’s devices (TGT, iPods, iPad, radios, tills) by following all incidences with IT and AMT, as well as device inventories.
- Optimize the use of RFID and prepare training plans for the team to upskill their confidence with it whilst making sure processes are followed correctly.
- To keep all devices updated with the latest versions and share them with the team.
- Stock loss and Security
- To work along side AMT and Managers in following Company’s procedures to reduce stock loss (ABC), tills use and inventories.
- To organize, prepare and execute the inventory cycles and analyze shrinkage report to make action plans to achieve Company’s target with Management team.
- Comply and promote Company’s security processes in store and enhance all working procedures in all areas.
- People
- Monitor, support and follow up on the new starters induction and training and identifies development opportunities and potential talent and informs senior management. Support them through 121’s and Talks.
- To lead and keep a high level of team motivation whilst deliver feedback in processes performance.
- To ensure coverage for operational tasks in store. Be actively involved in new projects, ensuring team members receive relevant training to maximise success in all operational area of the store
- Guarantees staff wellbeing, the implementation of best safe work practices and the compliance of all Health and Safety regulations.
- Manages the resources available in store according to the company’s sustainability policy.
